Cotton Australia is hosting a webinar on Wednesday 22 July as part of National Farm Safety Week 2026, focusing on one of the most important and increasingly scrutinised areas in agriculture — fatigue.

The webinar, Fatigue on farm: what the new codes mean for growers, will be presented by Josh Ingham from Ingham & Co.

Josh will provide a practical overview of the new fatigue Codes of Practice now in effect and explain what these changes mean for cotton businesses in day-to-day operations.

The session will cover what psychosocial hazards are, why fatigue is now clearly recognised as a workplace safety issue and where cotton operations are most exposed.

Josh will also step through what growers should be doing now to better identify, manage and document fatigue risks, along with the common challenges fatigue creates on farm and how to take a more proactive, practical approach.

The webinar will include an open Q&A and is designed to help growers better understand their responsibilities and take clear, practical steps to strengthen safety across their business.
