Volunteers needed for 2026 Sydney Royal Easter Show
Cotton Australia is preparing for the 2026 Sydney Royal Easter Show, the largest ticketed event in the Southern Hemisphere, and is looking for growers and industry members who can help tell the story of Australian cotton on the Cotton Australia stand.
The Easter Show is a chance to speak directly with people who don’t have much contact with farming. Visitors usually have plenty of questions about how cotton is grown, water use, where fibre is exported to and which brands use Australian cotton. Having growers and industry representatives there to answer those questions makes a real difference.
CA Education Manager Jenny Hughes said even a few hours on the stand is valuable.
“People want to hear from those involved in the industry. It’s a good opportunity to explain what happens on farm and across the supply chain, and to clear up some common misunderstandings.”
The 2026 Royal Easter Show runs from Friday 3 April to Tuesday 14 April. If you’ll be in Sydney and can spare some time, Cotton Australia would like to hear from you.
To register your interest, contact Jenny Hughes at [email protected] or phone 0417 405 267.
