Sydney Radio broadcaster spreads the good word about Australian cotton

Coleambally cotton farmer Joe Briggs has been invited into the Sydney studio of Radio 2GB’s breakfast host Ben Fordham to chat all things cotton.

Never one to shy away from a microphone and an opportunity to spread the good messages, Joe accepted immediately when offered the chance to appear live in studio with Ben recently.

Joe chatted about the sustainable practices of cotton, the hard work behind growing the white gold, the current conditions and the outlook for the future.

Joe also provided a gift to Ben of Country Road Australian cotton tea towels.

Ben remarked how soft they were before suggesting he would now have to do the dishes at home!
