Sydney Ag Students learn about cotton at HSC Revision Day

Students from across Greater Sydney recently came together for the Barker Ag HSC Revision Day in Hornsby, where they heard from industry leaders, including Cotton Australia CEO Adam Kay.

Adam was one of the guest speakers at the event, which was attended by around 45% of all Year 12 Agriculture students in Greater Sydney who will sit the 2025 HSC Agriculture exam.

His presentation connected key curriculum outcomes with current data and practices from the cotton industry, reinforcing classroom learning and showing how innovation, collaboration and technology are shaping the future of farming.

Adam also encouraged students to consider a career in the Australian cotton industry, highlighting its strong sustainability performance, global reputation for high-quality fibre, and widespread use of advanced technology.
