Save the date - the Bayer Grower of the Year Field say 2025
The date has been finalised for one of the most important Field Days on the cotton grower calendar – the Bayer Grower of the Year Field Day which will be held on the 5th of March 2025.
As is custom, the recipient of the Bayer Grower of the Year award, is invited to host the major field day the following year, to give all growers an opportunity to see how they do what they do on farm
The 2024 Bayer Grower of the Year, Scott Balsillie, farm manager for Eastern Australia Agriculture in Dirranbandi will host the Field Day at ‘Clyde’.
There will be a farm tour as part of the Field Day which will cover a variety of topics including those areas that Scott and his team have implemented from irrigation to workforce innovation.
Scott has been focused on improving water use efficiency through the bankless conversion from siphons, achieving huge benefits in labour and water savings, machine efficiencies and yield benefits.
More information will be released over the coming weeks and months but please save the date for one of the key Field Days on the 2025 cotton calendar.
