New Regional Manager for the Southern Valleys

Myles Byrnes has joined the Cotton Australia team as Regional Manager for the Southern Valleys, based in Leeton.

Myles holds a Bachelor of Agribusiness with a major in Rural Science and brings a strong mix of practical farming experience and workplace health and safety knowledge. He has previously worked as a Project Development Manager with Murray Cod Australia and in plant operations with Yara Australia, where safety systems, risk assessments and quality assurance were part of day-to-day work.

Earlier in his career, Myles worked as a farm hand across a range of broadacre, irrigated cropping and mixed enterprise livestock farms in northern NSW, including cotton production around Moree.

His WHS experience will be particularly valuable in supporting farms with the WHS components of myBMP, helping businesses meet requirements while improving on-farm safety and legal compliance.

Myles’ combination of hands-on farm experience and WHS expertise will be a valuable addition to the Southern Valleys region. We welcome him to the team.
