Grace Griffiths named finalist in 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards Queensland
The 2025 CRDC Chris Lehmann Young Cotton Achiever of the Year Grace Griffiths is a finalist in another Young Achiever award – this time the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards Queensland.
Grace has been named one of five finalists for the Turosi Food Solutions Food Industry Innovation and Excellence Award, which acknowledges the next generation of Queenslanders that are bringing new ideas and a focus on areas of food safety, quality, innovation and excellence in the food industry.
As an agronomist in Goondiwindi, Grace specialises in precision agriculture and sustainable farming. She’s also a cotton grower and founder of 101 Ag Pathways, a social media platform and online careers resource which she launched in 2022 to showcase the diverse career opportunities available across the industry. Since launching the platform, it has grown into a recognised tool for attracting and retaining the next generation of talent in the sector.
Each finalist in the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards is eligible for the 2026 People’s Choice Award, with voting currently open until Monday 15 June.
Cotton Australia encourages the cotton industry to get behind Grace and vote for her here.
The winners of the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards Queensland will be announced at the Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday 19 June.
