Getting the next generation involved in myBMP
Do you have a child returning home from school or university this summer?
Many families who have achieved myBMP accreditation have found it valuable to involve an adult child in the process.
myBMP isn’t just paperwork—it helps manage risks across your farm, from WHS to compliance and day-to-day operations. Getting younger family members involved can also bring a fresh perspective. They can identify areas for improvement or efficiency while gaining a deeper appreciation for the complexity of running a successful farm business.
If achieving myBMP accreditation has been on your list but hard to find time for, this could be the perfect opportunity to get it done. Cotton Australia provides support throughout the administrative process, leaving the final steps and decision-making to you.

Australian Future Cotton Leaders Grace Griffiths and George McCalman both took the lead to achieve myBMP accreditation on their family farms, Grace getting started at just 16. Watch Grace's story.
Lauren Roellgen from the Darling Downs also helped her father, Johannes, complete their myBMP accreditation after returning to the farm.
“Each week we would sit down and run through the list. A lot of things were already being done on the farm, so it was quite easy. For the ones that weren’t, we worked together to come up with a plan,” Lauren said. Watch Lauren’s story.
Eliza Maynard from Hay also supported her parents through the accreditation process.
“A lot of it was just paperwork, updating systems, and making sure everything was in place for new and existing employees—like setting up a formal induction system,” Eliza said. “It’s definitely had a positive impact on the farm.
