Farm Safety Webinar: Knowing Your WHS Obligations

Cotton Australia is hosting a webinar on Wednesday 25 March looking at farm safety and workplace health and safety (WHS) obligations.

The session, Farm Safety: Knowing Your WHS Obligations, will step through the basics, including inductions for business owners, staff and contractors, as well as the key records needed for machinery maintenance, pre-starts and Safe Work Procedures. It will also cover emergency response requirements, such as plans, manifests and first aid, along with practical ways to stay aware in the paddock and avoid common day-to-day mistakes.

There will be time for questions, with the focus on sharing practical information that can be used on-farm.

The webinar will be presented by Josh Ingham, founder of Ingham & Co, who works with agricultural businesses across Australia to put simple systems in place that support safety and meet compliance requirements.

The session will be recorded and shared after the event.
