Farewell to Simone Cameron as Cotton Australia Seeks Northern Australia Officer
Cotton Australia is recruiting for a Northern Australia Officer following the departure of Simone Cameron, who will finish up in the role after three years.
Part of the Cotton Australia Policy and Advocacy Team, the full-time position will support industry policy development processes and represent the industry’s position on key issues. Based in Kununurra, Katherine or Darwin, the role will work closely with growers and industry to develop and implement policy at a State and Territory level, with a focus on protecting the interests of growers and the environment.
During her time with Cotton Australia, Simone played a key role in shaping the Northern Australia Manager position. She built strong connections across a wide cross-section of stakeholders and supported the uptake of myBMP among northern growers. Her dedication and passion for agriculture in Northern Australia was widely recognised across the industry. Simone’s last day with Cotton Australia will be 17 April.
