Easter Message from Cotton Australia

Cotton Australia is wishing all its growers a very safe and happy Easter as picking finishes in some areas, continues in others and hasn’t begun for some.

CA CEO Adam Kay said while the season is still looking to be a very good one at around 5 million bales, growers in some regions have been impacted by some of the heaviest rain in many years.

“Our thoughts go out to those farmers who have witnessed their farms being inundated with floodwater. We hope they recover quickly and can achieve a reasonable outcome from their crops.

“It’s been a mixed 2025 so far and many families have been looking forward to a small break over the Easter period. Our best wishes go out to all growers for the holiday season.”

Meanwhile, Cotton Australia is reminding growers of the travel restrictions in place over the Easter Holiday period that limit travel for Class 1 heavy vehicles including agricultural vehicles.

Growers can view the travel restrictions in place for their area here.
