Dryland Cotton Growers Focus on Research Priorities at Narrabri Forum

More than 70 people gathered in Narrabri this week for the Dryland Cotton Growers Research Association (DCRA) Forum, which focused on sharing research and setting future priorities for dryland growers.

The event, hosted by DCRA, CottonInfo and Cotton Seed Distributors (CSD), featured a broad range of presentations—from seed and nutrition research to carbon and sustainability.

Cotton Australia CEO Adam Kay provided an update on industry activity, including a discussion on grower data and the National Farmers' Federation Data Code.

The day concluded with a review of the past dryland season and a group discussion on the research priorities that matter most to dryland growers.
