Darling Downs CGA celebrates award winners
More than 150 growers, consultants and industry supporters gathered at Adora Downs, Mt Tyson, for the Darling Downs Cotton Growers Inc. (DDCGI) 2025 Annual Awards Night.
The evening recognised achievements across the Darling Downs, with awards presented to growers, consultants and upcoming leaders.
Pastoral Properties (Cropping) Pty Ltd, managed by Rhys Herbert and Trish Carroll, received the Cotton Grower of the Year Award, while Mitch and Mariah Brimblecombe from Moira Farming were named High Achievers of the Year.
The Consultant Awards went to MCA (Grower of the Year recipient) and Will Lange (High Achiever recipient).
Jason Sinclair, New Leaf Ag, took out the Highest Yield – Irrigated award with 15.6 b/ha, and Pallathorpe Enterprises – Von Pein Family received the Highest Yield – Dryland award with 8.5 b/ha.
Other highlights included Lauren Roellgen being named Young Achiever of the Year, and Pallathorpe Enterprises also receiving the Greg McVeigh Memorial Trophy.
