Cotton Grower of the Year Award nominations closing soon
There’s still one week before the nominated closing date for the 2024 Australian Cotton Industry Awards with nominations open in four categories including the Bayer Grower of the Year and the AgriRisk High Achiever of the Year Award.
Nominations have been received but organisers are encouraging growers to nominate themselves or others in the industry who are demonstrating excellence, innovation and best practice.
The four categories open to nominations also include the CRDC Chris Lehmann Young Cotton Achiever of the Year and the Cotton Seed Distributors Researcher of the Year. The fifth category is the IPF Service to Industry Award which is bestowed on a worthy recipient by the industry itself.
Cotton Australia CEO Adam Kay said importantly the awards acknowledge the experienced but also encourage the young while respecting the role of researchers whose efforts benefits all growers.
Individuals and teams can nominate others, or themselves, for the 2024 Australian Cotton Industry Awards online.
The nominations close on the 29th of March - Nominate now.
