Cotton Farmers take centre stage in federal election campaign

The National Farmers Federation will use cotton growers to help highlight the range of concerns facing farmers in the last weeks of the federal election campaign.

Cotton Australia, as an NFF Member, was asked to canvass growers who may be able to highlight their concerns and key priorities to ensure all politicians fully understand what concerns people in rural and regional Australia.

Cotton Australia’s communication team took the opportunity presented by the Bayer Grower of the Year Field Day recently in Dirranbandi to speak with some cotton farmers about their concerns.

The resulting video interviews will be broadcast through NFF social media channels, in the lead-up to the polling day on the 3rd of May. See a preview below.
