Cotton Australia Meets with Nationals ahead of the Federal Election

Cotton Australia General Manager Michael Murray met with the Deputy Leader of the Nationals and Opposition Spokesperson for Water, Senator Perin Davey, and the Nationals candidate for the NSW seat of Whitlam, Katrina Hodgkinson, in Sydney last week.

The meeting provided Cotton Australia, along with other business leaders, an opportunity to gain key insights into the Coalition’s election strategy and its plans for Australia.

Katrina Hodgkinson was the NSW Member for Burrinjuck/Cootamundra from 1999 to 2017 and served as Minister for Primary Industries (including water) following the Coalition’s election victory in 2011. During her time in this role, she played a key role in significant water reforms, including laying the framework for the licensing of supplementary entitlements in perpetuity.
