Cotton Australia Joins UQ’s Beers’N’Careers Event

The University of Queensland's Agricultural Science Society recently hosted its Beers’N’Careers event, with around 60 students attending. Many of the students who attended were studying a four-year double-degree in Agricultural Science and Agribusiness and relished the opportunity to chat with agriculture industry professionals about career pathways and advice.

Nicole Scott, Paul Sloman, and Howard Coggan - all of whom are UQ Gatton graduates - represented Cotton Australia at the event. They presented to students on the history of Australian Cotton, sustainability achievements, and career options from on-farm through to post-farm gate and supporting industries in agribusiness and agronomy.
