Cotton Australia Connects with Nuffield Scholars at Queensland Branch Dinner

Cotton Australia had the opportunity to catch up with former cotton industry–supported Nuffield scholars at the recent annual dinner of the Queensland Branch of Nuffield Australia in Brisbane. Cotton Australia and the Cotton Research and Development Corporation have been long-term supporters of Nuffield Scholarships, which have seen many of our producers undertake intensive international travel to broaden their knowledge of agriculture in general, but very importantly, undertake individual research programs with the aim of improving the Australian industry.

Cotton Australia General Manager Michael Murray was able to catch up with Goondiwindi-based cotton producer, director of Nuffield Australia and 2014 Nuffield Scholar Nigel Corish, along with 2019 Nuffield Scholar, former Cotton Australia Regional Manager and Emerald producer Renee Anderson.

It was also a delight to meet up with Wee Waa growers, consultants and owners of Crop Capsules, Anna and Steve Madden, at the dinner.
