Cotton Australia briefs northern Australia politicians in Canberra

Cotton Australia has met with key federal politicians representing northern Australia in Canberra to provide up-to-date information on the region’s emerging cotton industry. The meetings were an opportunity to answer questions and establish an ongoing point of contact for any future inquiries from their constituents.

Discussions were held with Special Envoy for Northern Australia Luke Gosling MP, Minister Malarndirri McCarthy’s office, Member for Durack Melissa Price, NT Senator Jacinta Price, and the office of Minister for Resources and Northern Australia, Madeleine King.

Engagements like these help ensure key decision-makers have accurate information about the industry as it continues to develop in the north.
