Camp Cotton featured on ABC Landline

Cotton Australia’s Camp Cotton has been showcased to a national audience this week after it featured on ABC’s Landline program on Sunday 21 June.

The segment highlighted Camp Cotton’s role in connecting global brands and retailers directly with growers, offering an immersive, on-the-ground experience that helps the other end of the supply chain better understand how Australian cotton is grown and processed.

Landline journalist Kath Sullivan and cameraman Adam joined parts of Camp Cotton, where they interviewed Cotton Australia Chair Liz Stott, grower Andrew Pursehouse, AFF Chief Commercial Manager Josh Zarco, University of Sydney Plant Breeding Institute’s Director of Northern Agriculture Dr Guy Roth, and two delegates – Clive Ormerod, AS Colour CEO and Natasha Zouriakas, Sussan Group Campaign and PR Specialist.

The ABC Landline feature provides a valuable platform to share the Australian cotton story with a broader audience, showcasing some of the people, innovation and practices that define the industry.
