Call for Growers to Help Shape the 2026 Australian Cotton Conference

Planning is underway for the 2026 Australian Cotton Conference, and growers are invited to be part of the committee guiding its development.

Grower and Cotton Australia Board member Gus O’Brien is Chair of the Conference Committee and says grower involvement is essential to ensure the event remains relevant and valuable.

“We want growers involved in shaping everything from the speakers and topics to the overall format of the event,” Gus said. “The 2024 conference was a huge success – but we want to make 2026 even better.”

Held on the Gold Coast, the 2024 conference drew a record number of attendees, with more than 97% saying they’d recommend it to a colleague.

The 2026 Conference Committee is now calling for grower representatives to join and bring forward ideas, feedback and insight from across the industry.

If you’re interested in joining the committee, you can nominate yourself by emailing Cotton Australia at [email protected].

In the lead-up to 2026, the cotton industry’s warm-up event is the Cotton Collective 2025, to be held in Toowoomba from 5–7 August. Tickets are available now.
