Australian Cotton Conference Program taking shape
The 2026 Australian Cotton Conference is fast approaching, with less than four months to go until the industry’s premier event.
The opening session is locked in, with a line-up focused on leadership under pressure, business resilience and global geopolitical risk — all framed around keeping the industry “Future Fit”. Speakers include Australian entrepreneur and innovator Mark Bouris, former All Blacks mental performance coach Gilbert Enoka, and ANZ Head of Geopolitical Risk Cameron Mitchell.
While the rest of the program is still being finalised, a strong draft agenda is already in place and now available online, built around five core themes:
Farm productivity and risk
Sustainability and climate
Innovation and technology
People and skills
Markets and value
Early program highlights include sessions exploring what “Future‑Fit” cotton looks like in practice, reflections on more than 30 years of transgenic cotton in Australia, and updates on emerging areas such as digital platforms, automation, AI, biologicals and new production technologies.
Sustainability, water policy, dryland cotton, market dynamics and a look at the Brazilian cotton industry will also feature, reinforcing the importance of research that responds to production, environmental and economic challenges.
Don’t forget to register to access the early bird discount by 30 June. Register at https://event.australiancottonconference.com.au/acc26/registration-landing/Site/Register
