New Regional Manager for Darling Downs

Cotton Australia has appointed a new Regional Manager for the Darling Downs who has a wealth of experience in rural industries, business and banking.

Howard Coggan started last week and has hit the ground running, visiting growers with the assistance of Rob Crothers, the myBMP Manager and a former RM for the region.

Howard is a business professional with nearly 30 years of experience in service industries. He has a background in successful business ownership and management as well as a genuine interest in agriculture, rural property, and land types.

He initially grew up on a mixed beef and broadacre cropping farm at Condamine, Queensland and has specialised in agribusiness banking - living and working in numerous regional locations across Queensland for almost 15 years.

Howard holds an undergraduate qualification in Property Valuation through UQ Gatton, as well as a Post Graduate qualification in agribusiness through the University of Melbourne.

When not spending time with wife and his 3 nearly adult children, he enjoys spending all available time back on the family cattle farm at Condamine, following various sports and trying to keep fit.
