Geography Teachers learn more about Cotton
Cotton Australia’s Education Manager Jenny Hughes has succeeded in gaining three pages of valuable exposure in the Geography Teachers Association of Victoria’s magazine Interaction.
The publishers said Jenny’s article ‘Australian Cotton – carefully grown in managed environments’ displayed experience, insight and clear, student-centred explanations of the industry, especially in sustainable farming.
"It’s important to get our messages through to geography students because the subject is focused on place, people, and environments, both in terms of how these things change over time and to help develop our next generation to be informed and active citizens who contribute to the development of an environmentally and economically sustainable, and socially just world," Jenny said.
