General Meeting November 14 on the Gold Coast

Cotton Australia will host the next General Meeting at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast on the 14th of November.

The General Meetings brings representatives from across the industry together so the views of growers – via their nominated member representatives – can have direct input into the policies, strategic direction, and operations of Cotton Australia. The most recent Cotton Australia General Meeting was held in Coogee on Wednesday 31st May 2023.

Chair Nigel Burnett will open the meeting before CEO Adam Kay provides an update on Cotton Australia achievements on behalf of growers. The planning process for next year’s Cotton Conference will be discussed along with a spray drift update and updates from CGHA reps.

The meeting will be followed on Wednesday by the CRDC research session, allowing growers an opportunity to have their say on research priorities.

Cotton Australia will ensure all growers are informed after the event through the Members Minute, providing highlights of all topics discussed and links to relevant presentations.
