Farmer petition against unfair EU Legislation

Following recent discussions at the Australian Cotton Conference on upcoming global legislation, growers are encouraged to sign a petition addressing the unequal treatment of natural fibres, particularly under the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) category rules.

The Make the Label Count campaign, led by Australian Wool Innovation, is advocating for EU parliamentarians and counsellors to have PEF removed. Reintroducing PEF at this stage would negatively impact natural fibres.

It’s not too late to add your name to the petition. Join over 10,000 fellow cotton and wool farmers from eight countries who have already signed by completing this form by 31 August.
