Bob Ford - Cotton Australia’s Regional Manager for Northern NSW
Cotton Australia welcomes Bob Ford into the role of Cotton Australia Regional Manager for the Gwydir Valley and the Upper and Lower Namoi, after the retirement of Alec Macintosh.
Bob is well-known to farmers across Northern NSW having been involved in cotton in one way or another for 27 years.
Bob, whose most recent role was an office-based position with GRDC, loves being out on farm with growers and that was instrumental in his decision to accept the role with Cotton Australia.
“The best part of the job is being able to help farmers with their future endeavours in improving sustainability and yield.
“The key thing for me is that in 20 years’ time I will get to see the next generation of farmers coming through and I would like to be able to help them in some way.”
A primary focus for Bob in the future will be supporting farmers with their myBMP certification journey.
Bob can be contacted on 0428 950 015 or [email protected]
