Supporting safety research on cotton farms
The Rural Safety Health Alliance (RSHA) is seeking your assistance to gain a better understanding of how mobile machinery impacts cotton farms. Your input will be valuable and will only require five minutes of your time.
RSHA has placed a priority on researching mobile plant (self-propelled farm equipment), as there are gaps in our knowledge and limited existing research on this topic. Earlier studies conducted by RSHA have confirmed that mobile plant, including vehicles, are responsible for 68% of fatalities in RSHA industries, including the cotton sector.
The survey will be carried out by the contracted company KG2, and Paul Sloman from CA has been collaborating with Regional Managers to identify key growers for participation. We strongly encourage you to take part if approached. If you have a keen interest in this area, reach out to the Regional Manager in your location or contact Paul on [email protected]
