CA wins better transport deal for QLD growers
After five years of advocating on behalf of growers, Cotton Australia has had a win with the Queensland Government through its Department of Transport and Main Roads.
In summary a Qld Primary Producer can now legally share their concessionally registered Primary Production Heavy Vehicle with up to five other Primary Producers. It is important to recognise that the primary producer cannot hire or advertise the hire the vehicle, it must be a share arrangement.
In the past, the Concessionally Registered vehicle could only transport primary production that was produced by the entity that had registered the vehicle.
