This year’s conference was held on Saturday 26 August 2023 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and once again cotton was front and centre.

At this year’s conference, CRDC Chris Lehmann Young Cotton Achiever of the Year Award recipient Emma Bond delivered a hands-on workshop to launch Set 4 of the Wrapped in Cotton resources.

On hand to listen to Emma, an accomplished fashion educator of illustration, design, construction & sustainability were 40 teachers in the Circular fashion: Designing out Waste workshop – with teacher feedback very positive on both Emma’s presentation and the Wrapped in Cotton resources.

Emma and PIEFA both had trade tables showcasing resources from Cotton Australia, providing an educational and interesting spot for the 300 teachers to gather during breaks.
