Important new service launched to connect growers with job seekers

Australian cotton growers are encouraged to use a new service developed by Cotton Australia to connect our farmers with job seekers.
Cotton Australia has taken action to help solve one of our industry’s most critical challenges – the shortage of seasonal workers.
The Cotton Jobs Australia website enables our levy paying growers to post jobs they need filling, and enables candidates to apply for those jobs through a simple online form.
This service will play a vital role in addressing the industry’s seasonal labour shortages, which were worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Levy paying growers are now encouraged to create an account on Cotton Jobs Australia and post their vacancies before the service is formally launched to the wider community and job applicants next week.
Cotton Australia has compiled an informative resource to guide growers through the job posting process, and growers are also reminded that successful applicants will need to complete Work Health and Safety training before starting their role.
For any grower requiring further information, please contact your Cotton Australia Regional Manager.
