Cotton Australia’s CEO Adam Kay will serve a second term on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s (ACCC) Agriculture Consultative Committee.

Cotton Australia's CEO, Adam Kay, was re-appointed to the ACCC Agriculture Consultative Committee.

The committee provides a forum for concerns around competition and consumer law in the agriculture sector to be collaboratively addressed. It also provides information and advice about issues falling under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 which affect agriculture.

Mr Kay was re-appointed as the cotton industry’s representative on the committee last month.

The committee next meets on May 18, 2018 and Mr Kay said he was keen to hear from cotton growers with concerns around unfair contracts, marketing, or monopolies, so he can raise them at the meeting.

Anyone with an issue to be raised at the next Agriculture Consultative Committee meeting can contact Adam Kay by phoning (02) 9669 5222 before 11am on Friday 18th May 2018.
