CliMate app downloaded 4000 times

The CliMate iPhone and web app developed by soil scientist David Freebairn, and popular amongst cotton growers, has been downloaded 4000 times. The app is a suite of climate analysis tools accessible by website or Apple touch devices.

The system matches 65 years of daily rainfall, temperature and radiation data from 4500 Bureau of Meteorology weather stations with decision support tools.
